Saloon 10 is iconic. Wild Bill was shot here (although technically he was shot at the original Saloon 10 location down the street. Saloon 10 moved to this location after the Deadwood fire of 1876.)
The call it "the museum in which you can drink". There are many interesting relics on the walls and ceiling. It is the most popular bar in Deadwood.
There is live music here many nights a week.

Entertainment & Activities
There are all sorts of things to do around the Lead-Deadwood area. Here are some of our favorites...

My favorite part of the visitor center is the 3-D installation that shows you the extent of the mine shafts. It is said that they run under the entire town of Lead (pronounced LEED).
They have tours of the mine that leave the visitor center throughout the day during the busy season (Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend).
They have many pictures and videos and information.

This place is unexpectedly cool. You know those rides at Disneyland like the matterhorn where you feel like you're really in a mountain? This is what this place is like. The top level is a gift shop, and historical items. Then they take you down, down, down into the "mine". They had miners build a lot of the items so it really represents what the Homestake Mine looks like. Only open seasonally in the summer months.
