HUGE, enormous hyper-market! Anything you need from toiletries to a fridge! OH! make sure you take the pedestrian bridge to cross! Don't try to cross the ring road!

There are two Walmart's in Heredia, both of them located at a 10-minute drive from AltaVista. Very convenient prices and variety.

You can buy a sim for your phone here for around $5 if your phone is unlocked by the carrier so you can have internet and service while in CR :-)
