Our yurt (30' dia.) is rustic, beautiful, quiet, in deep woods with deck overlooking pond. Great for couples, small families (not childproof). Includes hot tub & Poetry Walk. Beds are futons. It's warm June-Aug. (no A/C, plenty fans), but way cooler than the city. It's cold Nov.-March (wood stove heat). Mini-fridge & microwave (no kitchen/plumbing). Parking and the bath-house are 2-min. walks (toilet, sink, shower). Two minutes to Saxapahaw. Read description for more info. NO PARTIES. No dogs.

Reconnect with nature all year round at our enchanting yurt. Perfect for a romantic holiday. Nestled in the woods, directly across the road from the lake, it is private but not secluded. Your stay includes outdoor leisure equipment for fun on the lake every season. Just relax, I do the dishes! There's no running water in the yurts well-appointed kitchenette but everything else you need is there! Windsong, nestled in the tree tops in the Blue Ridge Mountains, more of a treehouse than yurt! This yurt has internet, an upper deck w/ a hot tub and a lower deck with a gas firepit. There is an outside firepit with fire wood, and the yurt is comfortable year round with a minisplit and a propane fireplace. Enjoy the huge soaking tub in the bathroom and the large walk in tiled shower. A hammock hangs beneath the yurt, and there are two other yurts at different elevations for privacy.
