Pizza night is every Saturday . Winter: snow shoes skating, ice fishing ,curling ,lots of winter activities. Local Chocolate & Cheese factories, Wineries, We added an Eco Pool with beach for swimming.

Secluded off grid cabin. Not remote but a very quiet and peaceful location beside the stream on our small hobby farm. The perfect spot to unwind and recharge. The Cabin is surrounded by woods and the stream. Built by local Amish craftsmen, the cabin was designed and decorated to reflect an earlier era. Suitable for one or two people, there is ample room to relax. No washroom, but a clean outhouse. We have a homemade outdoor kitchen with BBQ, and 2 propane burners. Campfire wood available.

This secluded cabin in the woods is near Peterborough Ontario, about two hours from Toronto. Getaways offer a peaceful escape into nature. One queen and one twin bed up in the loft. The kitchen has a 2 burner counter top stove, fridge, toaster oven and kettle. Air Conditioning and WiFi. Charcoal BBQ. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, library, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, no shower or wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Hot tub, 5 bedrooms- 2hrs from Toronto

This cottage has lots of space & is a favourite for families or reunions. Even large groups will find they have room for private time and group hang outs. The river is slow moving and warm in the summer months but too cold and fast for swimming or boating in the off season (usually Nov-May). No development across the river and neighbours two lots away on either side makes for a private and quiet experience. A games room, board games, wii & gym space give you lots to do on rainy days.

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does not include the entire cabin. Christine's Log Cabin is directly across from the beautiful Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a private beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year & complimentary Whiskey Maple Cake included.
