A peaceful rural retreat

"A recently refurbished self-contained annex in the midst of beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Close to the Chilterns, the pretty market towns of Thame and Watlington and just 20 minutes drive from Oxford. There are excellent walks and numerous pubs and restaurants with delicious food and warm fires. The property is a separate annex from the main house and is perfect for a relaxing break. It has a sitting area and kitchen, a bedroom with beautiful views, a superking bed and a modern bathroom.

Completely peaceful, with fantastic views-totally isolated with its own private entrance. Set in the Chiltern hills- Mary’s Cabin is 2minutes stroll from the Restaurant of the Year- In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty;-walking, road & mountain biking- pub 7minutes up through the woods- 35mins from Heathrow and Oxford -Central London-50mins . Couples, solo adventurers, and small families (with 1small child). Sadly, since the advent of Covid, we no longer provide breakfast for our guests

Uber-clean and free from clutter, everything looks & feels fresh for each stay. The kitchen, carpets, paintwork, doors, windows and VELUX roof-lights have been replaced or updated recently. Located with a parking space in a secure, gated courtyard just moments from the town centre of Princes Risborough.

Just half mile from the M40 and Ridgeway ancient track. Many buses to/from Oxford/London 24 hours. Fast wifi, flatscreen TV (via internet) large shower and pretty patio with views. Tea/coffee/kettle and fridge. Car parking on drive. External auto light sensors. No smoking please, even in the garden! No shop in village!!!

Towersey is one mile from the market town of Thame, and has an excellent village pub plus access to the Phoenix Trail cycle & footpath. The Annex has its own entrance with parking space, a double bedroom with king sized bed & tv, and sitting room with fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, plus tv. An abundance of walks spreading across the Chiltern Hills are at your doorstep making it the perfect location for a weekend getaway. The Barn also has access to a bbq, firepit and private outdoor seating area. Quiet beautiful village

Independent private unit with private facility next to main house. I will be available if wanted. Very small, especially for two but manageable, hence the price, ( I try to keep the price as long as I can ), but very pretty, very comfortable bed for two, and good Wifi and good shower, a big fridge in the garage for your foods, beer or wine. You will not see me unless you want to!!!?. It is not a luxurious cottage. The Crown and Inn at Emmington there.
