Original fixtures from the time when the lighthouses with family lived in the lighthouse. The house is just the right size, newly renovated and furnished with original furniture classics from Scandinavia. In the house next door, baking is still done the old-fashioned way and on Friday there is a queue to secure the weekend's bread. Here you live close to the center with short distances. The airport bus stops nearby and the boats take you to the fjords with Prekestolen (pulpit rock).

Charming old wooden house in a quiet area. Enjoy the great view over the fjord from the veranda, where you can see a beautiful sunset and enjoy the heat from the campfire. The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.

Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

Welcome to Stolpabua! Here you live in rural surroundings just by the sea and the beautiful Jærkysten. We have been using the winter of 2021 to renovate the old cabin that has been here on the farm since 1936. Now we hope our guests will enjoy it here at Brekkekanten as much as we do.
