Turn left out of the gate down The Dock to the gate at the bottom. You will see Firle Place on your right. Follow the path. The walk takes 10 minutes. Bring a torch for return walk. Charleston, the South Downs Way, Lewes, Brighton and Eastbourne are easily accessible. Glynde Station is 25 minutes walk.

There is also a kettle and toaster, cutlery etc. Youngs garden stable block is on the edge of a charming old village in East Sussex, within striking distance of Bateman's ( home of Rudyard Kipling ) and many other historic sites such as Bodiam castle, Scotney castle, and many more. The village is approximately a 10 minute walk and has 2 pubs and a small supermarket.

A self-contained 2-bedroom flat adjacent to our home with separate access on the idyllic Kingston Ridge . Ideal for walkers, the South Downs way is at the end of the private no-through road, or the County Town of Lewes is a 2 mile walk away (or a ten minute drive). Brighton is 8 miles down the road, with a regular bus service. The apartment is ideal for 4-6 people but has a maximum capacity of 8 (sofa bed). N.B. We have a very friendly dog.

Originally built in 1871, this converted contemporary barn annex has one en suite double bedroom, and one double sofa bed, which is in the open plan living and dining area, so we can accommodate 2 plus 2 (family friendly) It has a fully fitted kitchen. Set in a peaceful country village with a wonderful village shop, close to Lewes. We no longer provide breakfast but we do supply welcome items.
