Fabulous apartment located on the first floor (= seventeen steps and elevator that will take you next to the front door of the house) in a 1600-1700 building. This apartment was completely restored in 2014, preserving the original 1600-1700 frescoes that are on all the interior walls Its beautiful balcony and windows overlook the Famous Loggia del Porcellino. Thoughtfully furnished and stylish high-end furniture makes it a real gem. The apartment was completely restored ( excluding the frescoes) in JUNE 2014 with the highest quality materials and all the comforts you need and tastefully furnished. The building is from 1200 and inside the entire apartment, the interior walls have original frescoes and not restored, from the year 700. Ideal for those who want to experience the history of Florence. It is in a great location and especially in the middle of the pedestrian area. For those who love to visit the most important monuments and museums of the city, you can reach it on foot without any need for any public service being the apartment in the heart of the historic center. Guests will have at their disposal , all the apartment and all the comforts of which they are part. The kitchen is prepared for all types of breakfast ( kettle, toaster, American-style coffee machine, Moka for Italian-style coffee, various types of tea , etc...) to cook is provided with everything you need ( pots, cutlery, glasses, dishes, refrigerator, microwave, etc...) At any time of the day I am at their complete disposal ready to advise them , help them or reach them , if they need or urgent or wish to do so. The apartment is wonderful and located in the most important district of the historic center.It has the largest balcony in the whole square. Located just a few minutes walk from the museums, the most important monuments of the city and history. I highly recommend Tuscan cuisine, which I would be honored to recommend some typical Florentine restaurants. Next to the apartment, you'll find the best fashion brands in the world. Being in an exclusively pedestrian area , to move by motorized means, it is possible to call a taxi , or move by bus. For those arriving by car , it is mandatory to book the parking space at the Garage of our trust. Just inform me , and I will do this and inform you of the address, costs and how to reach it. From the apartment , the Garage , is 150 meters away. PLEASE NOTE : Very important : I ask to be informed : 1) time of your arrival ; 2) the layout of the beds ((URL HIDDEN) If you want to pre-check in, in many cases you can do so. From 10:30 am , I offer the possibility to leave the luggage in the apartment , explain the operation of the apartment , take the keys and go to visit the city immediately. Climb the white marble staircase to the breathtaking rooftop terrace, boasting unforgettable views of the hills surrounding Florence and the historic center. This apartment has been newly renovated, mixing different kinds of architecture and design. In the flat there is plenty of space for your smart-workstation: internet is fast and reliable, accessible from every corner. We take particular care in sanitizing all the critical areas, in particular the space is sanitized by means of ozone generators. The apartment is newly restyled with a very special taste, mixing different styles in the architecture and design. It is a 2 floors apartment at the last floor of a mid 20th century building right outside the historical city center: at the first floor there are the bedrooms (a Suite and a second bedroom) the bathroom and a wardrobe room. The Suite is introduced by an elegant living area with a separè industry in glass and iron dividing it from the double bedroom with balcony and fireplace. The second bedroom has a big wardrobe with mirrors, a fine couch and twin beds to be disposed at one's will. Through an elegant white marble staircase we have access to the brand new rooftop kitchen and the wide terrace with a view on the hills sorrounding Florence and spots of the old buildings of the historic center. The apartment is entirely reserved to our guests, access to it is by the staircase or by elevator with private access to the floor. The rooftop terrace is only for our guests with sole access from inside the apartment by a staircase. At the same floor in a separate flat live the owners, always ready to help! The owner lives next door and is always available if needed. Chez Geraldine is an apartment just outside the historical center. It’s predominantly a residential district, but the cathedral, Galleria dell'Accademia, and Piazza San Marco are a 15-minute walk away. Food stores, restaurants, and bars are close by. AVAILABLE 4 BIKES (adult size) for our guests, included in the price. Please, use it with care and lock it well each and any time you leave them without custody, thank you. Whole apartment is air-conditioned and, on top of that, each of the two bedrooms have a separate heating/air-conditioning system. Bedroom 1: one double bed or two single beds - arranged according to your preference Bedroom 2: one double bed Both bathrooms have walk-in spacious showers. You can prepare a delicious meal in the fully-equipped kitchen and enjoy it in the dining room with your family or friends. In the living room, you can enjoy the time with each other or watch some TV on a 55" screen. Our guests will have access to the entire apartment. Together with my wife we set up a chat with our guests (via WhatsApp/Messanger) to be able to serve you 24/7 with suggestions, help and recommendations. Our preferred language is English but we can also communicate in Italian, French, Polish and Spanish. The apartment is located in the city center of La Spezia right by the pedestrian zone and train station. There are plenty of great restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops a stone's throw away. We are happy to find a best solution in terms of parking if you come by car. But then you can forget the car and use your feet or public transport to reach anywhere you need. Train station -> 3 mins walking distance Pedestrian zone -> 2 mins walking distance Marina with ferries -> 10 mins walking distance Bus stop -> 1 min walking distance We would also like to inform you that authorities require all the guests to pay the local tax at 2.5 euro/person/night (>16years) for max 5 consecutive nights of stay. The guests have fully access to the whole apartment, including one master bedroom, two bathrooms, a big living room with a kitchen area and an open balcony. The guests can contact us either by Airbnb message, by text message or by email. The neighborhood and the area where is located the property is very livable and at the same time safe. It is also very close to the train station of Florence and that's why it is common that our guests approach the apartment using the train service.
