Cosy Cornish Woodland Retreat

Escape reality in this thoughtfully converted Woodland retreat, in the renowned and secluded 40 acre Pendarves bluebell woods. Near the historic mining town of Camborne, we are a short 20 minute walk from the mainline train station (6 by taxi). A plentiful supply of local attractions, reached most easily by those with their own vehicle. St Ives (13 miles), Falmouth (15 miles), Penzance (20 miles). Sadly we do not allow pets and due to the nature of the site, it is not wheelchair friendly.

Nestled in the Preseli Hills, here is ‘Aros yn Pentre Glas’, our wonderful property which offers a unique getaway. Infrared Sauna now available for two people, you get one session included with each booking. ‘Y Panorama’ is a lovingly converted Bedford Plaxton Panorama bus from 1968 with its own roof, porch, outdoor area and superb view. We aim to provide a low impact setup which is why we have a compost toilet and provide you with non-chemical products, please do use them. *No pets please!

"Rex the Bus" is unique, fun and just a little bit quirky. This double decker bus has been converted to the highest standard and connected to mains electricity, water and drainage. Enjoy panoramic views of the countryside from the windows, watch the sunrise from your double bed or cabin bunk bed. Heating and a wood-burner will keep you warm and snug, whilst the kitchen area provides plenty of space to cook up a delicious meal. There is a shower downstairs and a loo and basin upstairs.

The bus has travelled over half a million miles, only to wind up here. I converted it during lockdown #2, and spent a few months living in it last winter, lighting many fires and seeing the occasional otter. The space is solely yours, in a little woodland nook hidden a field deep from the road, you won't see anyone or visa versa. It's also fully fenced, for your pets to enjoy a run around. Both the coast and the relative wilderness of Dartmoor are 30 mins away. Enjoy some stars ✌🏻
