Casas da Horta - Casa das Alcachofras

Casas da Horta are located on a private rural estate of 150 hectares. Both houses can be rented separated or together. This unique property is perfect for a family vacation or vacation with friends, offering privacy and plenty of room for a relaxing day in full nature. Only 8 km away is Alcácer do Sal, and 23 km to Comporta. Each house consists of 2 suites, 1 social toilet, a spacious living room with kitchen and dining room (with sofa bed), fireplace, pool and a shed. On the lake (not guarded) it is possible to go diving or strolling on a seagull with a slide. We also have bicycles at the disposal of our guests. The property has horses and a donkey (wild but surrounded) who love to host parties and carrots! Pets are allowed (upon extra deposit). We have 2 medium-sized dogs, very friendly. The owners live in the homestead, always being available for any need. Graduated in hospitality, with a professional career in the area and with a huge taste in welcoming, it will be my priority to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. Since we live on the property, you can always count on our availability. We are always available for suggestions for activities in the area and we know the gastronomic secrets around us well, which we will be happy to share! If you are a nature lover, be sure to explore our property! Visit the horses and the donkey, who love parties and carrots, wander with our (very friendly) dogs, take a chance on the harvests of our vegetable garden to give more flavor to your cooking. If you are more adventurous, be sure to dive into our lake that, with the seagull slide, makes the delights of the youngest. Alcácer do Sal (8km) is worth a visit and the Comporta area (25km) and its beaches are a must-see! Lisbon Airport is 99kms away, so it is about an hour from Casas da Horta. The nearest railway station is Grândola (12 km from the houses of Horta).

cosy well-equipped village home facing a garden with a large variety of plants, where a well and a garden bench engraved with antique tiles are prominent features. Walking/cycling to the lake or contemplating the starlight skies at night are exhilarating experiences. Ideal for long-term stays for anybody wanting a quiet place to work. Good wi-fi. I live with 2 cats in the studio with the entrance door via the garden which I look after but leave to private use of guests. Other pets are welcome.
