Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Large and comfortable apartment near Amsterdam City Centre, with your own private bathroom and toilet. Every morning we bring you a yummy breakfast. The best and fastest WIFI available in Amsterdam. Comfortable large twin bed (1.80x2.00). Coffee- and teamaker and minibar with cheap drinks (you can bring your own too). Quiet and safe neighbourhood. Het Soomerhuys is in the center of it all! As the train station is just 1 minute away you will be at Amsterdam Station and Haarlem station within 10 minutes and at the beach within 20 minutes. The cottage is a spacious detached house with three large bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious and light living room overlooking a beautifully landscaped garden. Perfect place for holidays and to be able to work quietly. The polder house is centrally located: the beach (16 km), Amsterdam (20 km), Leiden (13 km) and Utrecht (30 km). House of 100 years old is under the mill and is cozy and cozy. A 5-minute walk will take you to the centre of Alkmaar. Rent a boat and see Alkmaar from the water. In the street behind the cottage is a beautiful, large playground the “OKB”. The bus stops in front of the door. Paid parking in the area and just across the house. Free parking is within walking distance. Downtown: a 5-minute walk away Beach: 30 min by bike/min 15 by car Two bicycles for use at the cottage.

In the bright basement (with windows) of our unique canal house with façade-garden, on the corner of a canal and a square with large oak-trees you find this b&b wih lots of privacy, nice rooms and close to everywhere you would like to go! You enter the spacious entrance hall with table and coffee / tea supplies; with a private bathroom, separate toilet and a cozy bedroom / living room. Renovated with natural stone and wood. This house and this area are very photogenic.
