Reporting and blocking
If you block someone, they won’t be able to send you messages, use Instant Book for your listings, send you a reservation request, or accept a reservation request from you. Blocking someone you have an upcoming reservation with is not possible.
To report a message
Report a message on desktop
- Go to Messages and select the conversation you want to report
- In the message, click the three dots icon
- Click Report this message
- Select the reason you're reporting the message and click Ok
- Give further details (if required), and then click Submit

- Go to Messages and select the conversation you want to report
- Tap Report this message
- Select the reason you're reporting the message and tap OK
- Give further details (if required), and then tap Submit

- Go to Messages and select the conversation you want to report
- Tap Report this message
- Select the reason you're reporting the message and tap OK
- Give further details (if required), and then tap Submit
Report a message on mobile browser
- Go to Messages and select the conversation you want to report
- In the message, tap the three dots icon
- Tap Report this message
- Select the reason you're reporting the message and tap Ok
- Give further details (if required), and then tap Submit
For most of the reasons, you'll have the option to block the person from messaging you again.
Note: If you reached this page by tapping on an Unblock link, you should upgrade your app or use the web, and then the Unblock link should unblock your conversation.
