Delightful shepherd's hut at a Victorian station

We offer a very warm welcome to the Old Railway Station, in a beautiful part of Northumberland, nestled between the coast and the hills. The accommodation is in a delightful shepherd's hut, fondly known as Bluebell. There are 'welcoming goodies', including locally made biscuits and fresh, home-laid eggs! We also provide some milk, tea, coffee & hot chocolate to assist your self catering. There is a well stocked shop just 5 minutes drive away and many highly regarded places to eat in the area.

The Humble Hut

The Humble Hut is cosy with everything you need to feel at home. On warm days, open the top dutch door and let the air flow through and when its cold its great to snuggle up by the fire. Outside there is a private area that is ideal for sunbathing or having lunch or a glass of wine. There is seating around the hut so what ever time of day you can find a place to sit in the sun and admire the stunning views. At night if the sky is clear you can star gaze as we are in a dark sky area.

Well House hayloft

A lovely 18th century building, one of the oldest properties in Belford, that has a coffee shop below. In a friendly village only 5 miles from picturesque Bamburgh. Belford has pubs, restaurants, play parks, shops, chemist etc Very central for all attractions in Northumberland only half hour and you’re in Scotland. Near the coast with all its castles and beaches, and only 12 miles from Holy Island. Alnwick is only 14 miles away with the amazing castle and Gardens, also Barter Books.

An attractive 2 bedroom barn conversion, mainly on one level, with views across the Northumberland National Park. Enjoying a tranquil, rural position, surrounded by stunning countryside, this is an idyllic spot to rest and refresh. Brilliant for walkers and cyclists (on the Sandstone Way cycle route) and a great base for exploring wonderful Northumberland. This early nineteenth century property was once a Victorian School House but has been a dwelling for over a hundred years. In 2015 the property was renovated and no expense has been spared on this tastefully furnished apartment. There is a beautiful log-burner in the living room fireplace - with fuel provided - so the apartment is truly a cosy space even with its modern, light and airy open-plan aesthetic.
