The house has an expansive living area which flows out to the west and east to courtyards, and has an entertainers kitchen and separate lounge/entertainment room that offers a relaxing 'break out' environment. The house has two queen bedrooms, a twin single bedroom downstairs, a loft up stairs with three single beds, and there is also a sleep out which is set up with a double sofa bed. The house has full laundry facilities and two bathrooms and is well appointed in many aspects. There are numerous outdoor options available at Ocean Ridge, which combined with this holiday home encourages you to stay longer. Stunning views to Mt Fyfe and located in the breath taking Ocean Ridge, across the road to the golf course, beach and winery.

Our very spacious one bedroom apartment is downstairs under our house with its own entrance and spacious patio to enjoy the view of the garden and distant mountains. Tea , coffee and milk are provided upon arrival. We are 2kms from the town center , 3.5kms to Whale Watch therefore if you are arriving by bus or train and walking our accommodation may not suit you 😊 We are 2.8kms to the Seal Colony and Peninsula Walkway. On the way is the Original Seafood Caravan which is very popular.

For a unique and relaxing holiday in a rural setting, Kowhai Cottage is quiet and private, set under the rugged slopes of Mt Fyffe. Comfortable, modern holiday house with mountain views in a quiet cul-de-sac on the peninsula, between South Bay & the town side. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the town side, yet only a short drive to anywhere in Kaikoura. There are decks at the front & back of the house and a great indoor/outdoor flow. The house has most conveniences, with a great kitchen, bean-to-cup espresso machine, comfortable beds & furniture, WIFI, Chromecast, & plenty of off-street parking.
