The Bothy: apartment-style homestay

The Bothy is a self-contained and independent unit of Belinda and Hugh's lovely home, but has the same fantastic views of the lake and the mountains as their own sitting room. It has a small kitchen so you can be as independent as you wish, and a comfy lounge with "that" view! The main bedroom has a king bed, but there are two single beds and a small child-sized bed in a mezzanine loft (with pull-out ladder access) for the family, and a pull-out couch which makes into a comfy bed for one extra.

Newly decorated, studio unit, situated close to Taupo town, walking distance to shops & restaurants. Fully fenced, with off street parking. A lockable space for 2 pushbikes. Private & self-contained, our studio is cozy when you want to stay in, and easy to come back to when you've been out sightseeing or at the Lake or hot pools. The heat pump & double glazed windows will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. There's everything you need here for a great stay in our lovely town.

Cottage Lane close to Town

A private entrance leads upstairs to a light airy and sunny bedroom and ensuite. Views of the lake from the front window. Parking right outside the door, walk 750meters to town to enjoy breakfast at one of the many cafes. Ski slopes are just over an hour away. Fridge, kettle, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, crockery, cutlery,wine glasses, chopping board and sharp knife . Iron and ironing board. Beach towels for a dip in the lake. Washing machine and dryer on site.

Kaka Wing is a lovely space for 2 people to enjoy what Taupo has to offer. We are located in the heart of Taupo so you can walk to everything. Within a 5 minute walk is the main beach, four square, butcher, bar, cafe and an award winning restaurant 2 doors away! We have recently refurbished this wing of our house with a queen size bed, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, air conditioning & sky TV. Our property is extremely secure being fully fenced with automated gates.

Large holiday home with breathtaking views of Lake Taupo. Plenty of space for families and groups split over 3 levels with 8 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Self contained studio, semi detached from main house. Located in suburb of Hilltop, minutes drive from town and walk to the lake. Kitchen equipped with fridge, microwave and induction hob. Bedroom with a queen bed, cosy lounge with TV and fold out couch for extra guests if required. Also two cubby beds suitable for children up to 140cm tall. Flued gas heater keeps the place nice and toasty in the winter months. WiFi included.
