The Stables a gorgeous one bedroom sanctuary. Set in established, private gardens with an outside bath and fire pit to warm you as you enjoy the peace and tranquility that Lancefield offers. Fully renovated, warm and cosy, double glazed windows all screened. A stylish kitchen to cook up gourmet local ingredients from the famous Lancefield farmers market held every 4th Saturday. Fully heated and Aircon for those warm days. Ask about one night stays directly, I will try to accomodate if possible.

He named it “Cooinda” an aboriginal name for a “place of happy meetings”The property is located on the golden mile just past the township of Mt Macedon and nearby to Hanging Rock. Beautiful walks directly opposite and your own private bungalow to return to. Our cosy Bungalow is perfect for couples or a single person and we are usually ok with 1 visiting pet (if cat and dog friendly) We have a Border Collie and 2 cats so let us know if we need to keep them contained.

Our atmospheric cabin sits amongst the gum trees, surrounded by birdsong. Named after the Gububurras (Kookaburras) that share the property with us, it's only ten minutes walk to the Mount Macedon village for coffee or a short drive to find wineries, village markets and forest walking trails. Alternatively in the cooler months you can curl up by the fire and read or enjoy the view from the terrace by the fire pit. The calming effect of Guruburra on our guests is almost immediately
