Walk to the Beach from a Refurbished Cottage with a Patio

With lots of space downstairs, you can relax in the garden, chill out in the spacious Kitchen/diner or unwind in the lounge. Kids, grandparents and parents can all have their own space if needed. The master bedroom has a King size bed, the 2nd bedroom has smaller size bunk beds better suited to children and the top floor 3rd bedroom has the option of 2 single beds or a kingsize bed. If required there is also room for a fold up guest bed in the 3rd bedroom. (Website hidden by Airbnb) You have use of the whole house and garden. We live quite locally, so are on hand should you have any queries. The cottage is walking distance to local shops, restaurants, the beach, and the harbour. Whistable has a train station, many bus routes to local towns and the City of Canterbury. Although the property does not have its own parking, there is street parking and a pay to use car park near by. Please note the 2nd bedroom only has bunk beds which are smaller size and not ideal for adult use. Thank you. Chloe Cottage has a highchair and a travel cot available to use. We also have one travel stairgate available to use. The Cart Shed at South Barn

A top-notch conversion of a small flint and brick cart shed alongside a beautifully restored 300-yearold oak barn. It feels private too, with its own little courtyard garden, colourful borders, terracotta pots, teak table and chairs – catch the morning rays with an al fresco breakfast. Inside all is fresh, bright, light and comfortable. Beautiful oak floors are toasty underfoot, there are chunky beams, thick fabrics, white sofas, French doors out the courtyard and heaps of books. The bedroom makes great use of the space with its fine painted bed, so settle down with best linen, feather and down duvets, views across the garden, and a fully-tiled walk-in shower that’s state of the art. A generous welcome basket includes a bottle of wine should you be staying the week, the flat-screen TV comes with oodles of DVDs, there’s a fully equipped kitchen in one corner and kind owners next door to provide continental breakfast or evening meals should you want them; lovers will take root. There’s walking through woods and paths for the more adventurous, and Canterbury Faversham and Whitstable are near. Nearby Ashford has high speed train link to london only 38 miutes away. Charming.

This 1860 Georgian four bedroom period holiday home accommodates up to 8 guests in a home from home atmosphere with lots of creature comforts provided for a really enjoyable holiday or break. Sorry no pets allowed at the property. Our local beach is a merely a 10 min walk through the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. The walk to the River Rother is less than 5 minutes walk and is perfect for crab fishing. Please note that the actual postcode is in incorrect on some satellite maps and is TN31 7TS.
