My mother is a calligrapher, so I am familiar with "Wa" and decorated the famous "Echizen washi" art in all rooms. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream.
