Spend your vacation in the tranquility of nature, and there's also a nice distance to your neighbors. From the windows, you might see the Northern Lights and the starry sky, forests and rabbits run in the woods. Sometimes reindeers visit nearby. The track starts, close to 450m , a little walk and you're in the ski track. It's also a short trip to Vuossel ski slopes. You can get linens for 22 eur/person if requested. There is also a snowmobile rental nearby. In the summer, you can swim in a nearby lake.

Hossa National Park opens in front of the cottage. The cottage is located on the shore of tranquil Joukojärvi. The cottage was built with tradition, respecting the building carved in the 1890s. Heating is handled by a soapstone oven and two stoves. Electricity is powered by solar only in the darkest months, batteries are charged with an agglomeration. Wood-burning sauna in the same building. The front toilet is composted and odorless. Kainuu nature tours rent electric steel bikes, slip shoes, and kayaking equipment.

Cozy cottage in Siika-Kämä, nice village between Ranua Zoo (40 min) and Rovaniemi City (45 min) in the middle of amazing Lappish countryside in private and safe area. Owners live near to the cottage and are more than happy to help you to have a memorable stay! A beautiful lake (only 20m), where you can enjoy both winter and summer. Activities in accommodation: Ice-fishing, snow-shoeing, snowmobilerides or rent it! You need to have a car to get here, it takes 45 minutes from Rovaniemi city.

Heart of Lapland- Siikkis+wood heated sauna

A cute little cabin for two people in a magical forest, on a private plot by a beautiful lake near by host home. A sauna is heated for guests every evening. Cabin is ideal for guests who are looking for peace and quiet and distance from the hustle and bustle of the city and the light pollution, but are within driving distance of many of the places to visit. Cabin is located about 45 min drive from Rovaniemi. Many activities can be done around the cabin, either independently or with a host.

Pieni Karhunkierros ja Oulangan Kansallispuisto, Riisitunturin Kansallispuisto, Rukan hiihtokeskus ja sen tarjoamat palvelut ravintoloineen ja kauppoineen. Mökiltä on kauniit maisemat järven yli Valtavaaralle, Konttaiselle ja Rukatunturiin. Syksyllä ja talvella voit ihailla revontulia ja tähtitaivasta järvellä.

Comfortable grandma's cottage in the countryside

A spacious grandma's cottage with a sauna for rent in the countryside of the river near the old train station. Good central location halfway between Kemi (69km) and Rovaniemi (50km) near 4 roads. If necessary, transportation can be arranged through us. Rowing boat and bicycles are occupied by tenants. We also offer a variety of activities according to the seasons. Feel free to ask! We'll agree on a case-by-case basis if we allow pets. A public beach within walking distance.

Lämminhenkinen mökki Kitkanrannalla kaikilla mukavuuksilla. Hanasta tulee puhdas lähdevesi. Puilla lämmitettävä sauna. Oma ranta (80 m. mökiltä) soutuveneellä varustettuna. Talvella voi käydä pilkillä ja kesällä uida ja kalastaa. Lumikengät ja lasten pulkat saa käyttää. Lähellä sijaitsevat: esim Ruka noin 19 km (noin 15 min automatka) , Riisitunturille noin 15 min automatka, myös Valtavaara, Konttainen, Karhunkierros lähellä.
