The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

Queenies Cottage has been beautifully restored to retain many original architectural features whilst providing modern comforts; underfloor heating, woodburner, fitted kitchen , downstairs wet room and an ensuite shower room to the master bedroom. Quaint fisherman’s cottage, the closest house to the beach on Beach Road! Newly renovated throughout and close to bars, restaurants, theatre, amusement arcades, Gorleston High St (>1 mile), Great Yarmouth (4 miles) and Norwich (20 miles). As is traditional in these cottages the stairs are steep and not suitable for people with mobility issues. 50 paces from the Pier Hotel featured in the film Yesterday and in the heart of Banksy’s Spraycation public gallery around coastal Norfolk and Suffolk!

Semi-detached one bedroom Cottage with views over the river. Situated 1 minutes walk to the Beccles open air heated public swimming pool and only 3 minutes walk to the vibrant town centre and river. Accommodation is on three levels with a large double bedroom, kitchen diner leading to the shower room and toilet, and lounge area containing a double sofa-bed. A conservatory off the lounge leads to a utility room with downstairs toilet and a south facing patio area. Off-road parking included.
