The pride of the town located on Lake Szymbarskie is a 14th-century castle. The second (largest) Teutonic castle, right after Malbork. The building changed owners many times. At the end of the war, SS troops were stationed here, after the capitulation the building was burned down by the Red Army. The castle has not been rebuilt, but the monumental ruins still make a great impression.

Walking along the pedestrian and bicycle path along the Iławka river from the side of the Mill Island, we reach picturesque houses on the water, which slightly resemble the architecture of Italian Venice. These houses are only boat hangars built into the infrastructure of this place. Around it, we will see numerous piers and terraces, benches, wooden deckchairs, and going further we will reach the historic Orthodox Church.
