The pride of the town located on Lake Szymbarskie is a 14th-century castle. The second (largest) Teutonic castle, right after Malbork. The building changed owners many times. At the end of the war, SS troops were stationed here, after the capitulation the building was burned down by the Red Army. The castle has not been rebuilt, but the monumental ruins still make a great impression.
