Shropshire's main county town is only 8 miles away. Park at frankwell and walk over the river into town. Apart from the main shopping center there are numerous small individual shops to browse around. Shrewsbury castle is also worth a visit as is the main park (The quarry) and in particular the Dingle with its amazing array of flowers.
