Aviation history seen through decommissioned planes housed in wartime hangers, plus tech exhibits.
Great place to visit if you’re an aeroplane enthusiast or want to keep the kids entertained for a few hours.
A 27-minute drive away from the property, the Royal Airforce Museum is great for anyone with an interest in aviation and the RAF. The museum is free to enter (you just have to pay for parking) and offers a fun day for all of the family. Once you’ve had a look around, you can visit the 4D experience, virtual reality zone or the flight simulator (charges apply). Don’t forget to visit the gift shop at the exit of the Cold War exhibition where you will find an array of gifts and souvenirs.
