Food Scene
A no frills place. Blink and you will miss it but the locals keep this little hole in the wall packed. Opens nightly for dinner except on Sundays. The venison, chorizo and angus burgers as well as the pork belly tacos, garlic herb fries and the potato salad are sooo good!

This place is open nightly for dinner, except on Sundays and Mondays! The entree-size steak salads with gorgonzola and capers(upon request) with whatever else they mix in, are huge. Drizzle any of the housemade dressings and your tastebuds will thank ya! The pasta dishes are large as well and very tasty. We usually get an entree salad and a pasta dish with a meat and split it. We then basiclaly wobble out of there! Ask for a shot of the complimentary Sambuca; it is the perfect licorice/anise-flavoured ending to a wonderful meal.

Another local favorite in a renovated warehouse. The patio with it's beautiful garden, the antique fireplaces, the variety of chandeliers, the super-friendly service, the slices of all types of delicious cakes and pies and the sandwich platters are amazing. I love The Louis Xiv (country chicken salad sandwich) as well as the Early American(thinly sliced roast beef sandwich) but really EVERYTHING they serve is delicious.

Step back in time in this multi-award winning local establishment. Shrimp and Grits, Short rib salad, Warm Brie Salad, Bison Steak, Heirloom Chicken, live jazz, house-made icecream and sorbet, KY bourbon, have I got your attention yet? Open for lunch and dinner but quite a bit more affordable for lunch.

Eat and drink in this totally unique, dark, hip place. If you ever wanted to be hipster cool and enjoy a night with tantalizing food and drinks...Just go...Just GO! lol. You will thank me! "The Holy Grale is located in a renovated Unitarian church in the Highlands, and it’s practically a temple to craft beer. Their draft menus and beer list change almost daily, but there are at least 20 excellent, rare, and interesting beers on tap at any time. There’s a choir loft available for additional seating or event space, and a gorgeous garden behind the church that connects to the associated coffee house: Gralehaus. It’s your one-stop shop for dinner, drinks, and hangover cures!"-The Thrillist
