The golden, sandy, surfing beaches of Widemouth Bay and Blackrock, have received the prestigious, Blue Flag and Seaside 2022 awards, due to their excellent water quality and pristine condition.
The beaches can be overlooked from the property and are a ten minute walk or two minute drive away and are lifeguarded between 10 am and 6pm daily, during the summer months.
If you don’t want to cook on your holiday, no problem, as there are three pubs, two beach cafes and a shop in Widemouth Bay, all serving excellent food and within a two minute drive.
The Rebel Cinema has two screens, showing the latest films and is three miles away at Treskinnick Cross.
The southwest coastal path is a three minute walk from the property.
A five minute drive away is the town of Bude, with its sea pool, beaches, shops and restaurants. Further afield, and within an hour or less by car, you might like to visit Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Tintagel Castle, Clovelly, Hartland Quay and Abbey, Roughtor, Cardinham Woods, Wadebridge to Padstow camel trail, RHS Garden Rosemoor, Lanhydrock House, Camel Creek, Hidden Valley, Bodmin Jail, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Padstow, Rock and Port Issac, home of Doc Martin.
