Tips from locals
We haven't been for years, but in the past we've watched live, outdoor theater in the formal Italian gardens surrounded by Peacocks. We've also taken our dog for walks up through the estate, past the formal gardens and deep into the wilderness, eventually up to the Iron Age Fort. It's beautiful, quiet and bit off the beaten track.
Very close to Tredethy and well worth a visit for its beautiful gardens as well as the Georgian House itself.. There's also a lovely cafe offering locally sourced produce and children's play area.
