The Thai Noodle Station was opened in 2009 and has since become a true staple for locals and travelers alike. The menu here is simple, there is soup. You can choose a vegetarian option, beef or chicken and that is that. But don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the menu, the quality of ingredients is outstanding, and there certainly is a dash of secret magic in there, making this simple option, oh so good.

Located on Grandi, just a tad further out than the Old Harbour, you’ll find a collection of little restaurants. The Coocoo’s Nest being an absolute favorite, this place is the best for weekend brunch. On weeknights they alternate different menus, you can find everything from taco Tuesday to sourdough pizza nights. It can get a little crammed in here and they don’t take reservations, but you never have to wait long. Go to dish: The Breakfast Burrito, Soups and Salads and their sandwiches

Yes! We have a beach! You can swim in the Atlantic ocean all year around and get to know the locals that do this religiously - after you get your heart pumping, everybody high on the adrenalin kick, you can relax in the hot tub where everybody there is your friend!
They sell sandwiches and drinks for a decent price but you can bring your own hotdogs and put them on the grill!

I love this place because the beauty it holds. The stories and details behind each sculpture leaves you in awe. A great place to stop for a picnic , on the other side of the wall of the busy city (the calm in the storm).

Like the Icelandic football team’s unlikely and triumphant rise to near-glory in Euro 2016, Lebowski Bar boldly takes the gold for the first time in this category. This giant diner-like theme bar is smack in the centre of town, and takes the prize for its particularly fantastic coverage of the aforementioned sporting event, as well as the last Olympics. It regularly shows multiple sporting events on screens spread throughout its two levels. It’s got all the beers and drinks you need to celebrate wins or mourn losses, plus tasty burgers and shakes. Googol! ~written by The Grapevine
