Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Close biking distance to several lakes and great adventures. Located 5 min driving to a convenience store, and approximately 2 hrs driving from Malmö. New cabin with midnight sun located right at the beachfront at SørSenja. Great location to see the Northern Lights out over the sea in the direction of Andøya. New Joker shop in the surrounding area, several hiking trails, halibut museum, national park, inland and sea fishing, boat rental nearby. 2 hours by car from Bardufoss airport. 1 hour drive to Finnsnes. 1 hour by fast boat to Harstad. 3 mattresses upstairs in the loft in addition to the two bedrooms. Welcome.

Cottage with jacuzzi and boat by the fjord

The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå or to visit the local climbing park "Klatreparken Høyt og Lavt". It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.

Beautiful new cottage with all facilities. Here everything is ready for a fantastic stay. Short way to most things, Trollstigen, Trollveggen, Atlanterhavsveien, Romsdalseggen, Molde. Or just sit on the front porch to enjoy the view and watch the cruise ships sail by. The cottage is a perfect starting point for summit hikes summer and winter in beautiful Rauma with its majestic mountains. Short way to beautiful Skorgedalen with ski lifts trails in the winter.
