The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. Torea Cabin, cosy with loch view

Enjoy the peace and views at our cosy wee cabin. Beautiful setting on the banks of Loch Eil. Watch the Jacobite Steam Train pass on the opposite shore, along with the sea birds and other wildlife. Easy access to the water if you have kayaks or paddle boards. Located within the grounds of our home, so you share the driveway and garden. Make sure you bring your provisions as we are 35 minutes drive from Fort William and there are no shops or restaurants near by.

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
