KC has a long history with jazz, and this place is certainly part of it. $5 cover charge, $10 cocktails, live jazz, absolutely vibing atmosphere. Relaxed enough you can enjoy the music AND your conversation. Eat before you go! I think hummus is about the most you can order off the menu
