You can get fresh fish, meat and vegetables every day here until 14.00. there are also places to eat inside and out of the market. Definitely worth a visit.

daily fresh food and clothes market. It is an experience just to visit, walk around, the best freshly made donuts (called frati) ever! amazing prepared food (Da Giovanni, panini custom made...) and you can buy fresh fruit and veggies, fish, meat, bread, cheese, eggs, anything! all year round Monday to Saturday.

In Livorno we call the Central Market "our Louvre" because it is a beatuful art nouveau building. The same architect who built the marker in Florence. The difference is that in Florence they ruined it, making a second floor with expensive restaurants. In Livorno this place is the market where you go grocery shopping because you will find the best quality products for a reasonable price!

Our central market is amazing. The covered market is a beautiful structure and a historical landmark. The open-air section has everything from food to clothing to housewares.
