Tips from locals
Montreal-style smoked meats, matzo ball soup, delicious cream soda. Squirrel Hill is a traditionally Jewish neighborhood, and this new addition to the neighborhood makes traditional foods modern.
Only open 10-4 on Saturday and Sunday, this is our favorite place for a post-bike-ride lunch. The 'noshings' table is great, and the reubens are fantastic.
This restaurant offers the most unique brunch in Pittsburgh. It's a Jewish bistro: There's homemade bagels! The "nosh and nibble" table is eclectic and outstanding.. Everything made from scratch taken from a collection of a grandmother's recipes. There's noodle kugel, latke puppies, fresh fruit, chopped liver etc
