Spectacular formations along the beach....you may also see a Black Hooded Plover, walking toward the Cape.
Big cliffs and favourite sunset spot! Walk down the stairs and turn right - all the way to the best rock pool on the Island at the end of the beach. And of course big SURF spot.
Most beautiful sunset on an island or calm morning walk on a sand, listening to the waves crashing into the red rocks, watching the water bubbling in a rock pools.
This hike offers the most spectacular views on island. From the Cape Woolamia Beach car park turn left on the beach and walk about 1km to the set of stairs. From the top there are a few walks to choose from; ranging in time between one and a half to two and a half hours. It is so worth the time and effort! During whale season you may even spot a whale or two. From the bench near the top of the stairs you can also watch the Shearwater birds come in just after dusk between October and April. Such amazing sea birds!
