The "Venice of the Cotswolds" is a must see when in the area. Perfectly formed Cotswold cottages, interesting local shops and a transport museum are a few of the many interesting attractions.
Bourton on the water is the heart of The Cotswolds! With its famous low bridges it's a tourist hotspot! Parking can be hard - I'd highly suggest getting there early. Approx 30 Minute Drive 16 Minutes
Bourton on the water is one of many villages in the Cotswolds to visit. Not too far away and very picturesque, built either side of a shallow river and with plenty of cafes, pubs and gift shops as well as a model village of the village!
Set in one of the most picturesque and romantic Cotswold villages, Bourton on the Water is often called "The Venice of the Cotswolds " with its lovely bridges and river flowing through. It has cute shops, plenty of cafe bars and restaurants and lots to keep the kids entertained. It is also very dog friendly with lots of lovely walks in the area.
