This is the first structure built in Glen Rose. It functioned as a water mill and cotton gin then housed a hospital. It has been restored by the Somervell County Historical Society. It now houses oriental and American Indian art and artifacts in addition to the restored facility.

One of the oldest buildings in town, the grist mill has been renovated and is now an art museum. They support art, education, and the preservation of historic resources. Also available as a venue for weddings or other special events.
