It's preserved a lot of Roman History in Britain and has many passionate volunteers sharing their knowledge of this heritage. There's normally one dressed up in ancient Roman military gear who enjoys answering all your questions. Open 10am–5pm Monday–Saturday, 2pm–5pm Sunday. Free admission.
Just one part of some of the best-preserved Roman Remains in UK. Fabulous amphitheatre (openair) is a wonderful & safe place for children to run about and use their imagination. The original Camelot?
