Manjarabad fort is a star fort built in 1792 by Tipu Sultan the then ruler of Mysore following French star-shaped fort designs made popular by Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban that deflect cannon fire and allow guns to cover all approaches without dead positions.

A stunning Star-shaped fort built by Tipu Sultan in 1792 to guard the approaches to Mangalore and Coorg. It is about 30kms from Lagom Stays and one of the few forts built by Tipu and because of the height you can see all the way up to the Arabian Sea on a clear day

25 min drive from Siddhanta Manor. A star fort built in 1792 by Tipu Sultan the then ruler of Mysore using French military architects. Located on top of a hill there many vantage points from where one could spot an approaching and also drink in the beauty of the stunning scenery around.
