This place is a legend. Live Music Venue, nightclub, beer, hamburgers. Casual. Ages 21-99. Later at night, there may be a $5 cover depending on the bands. Several rooms, sometimes with additional live music. In 1921 Anheuser Busch opened a drinking establishment in the picturesque river town of Alton, Illinois. A yellow brick building, Bon-Air, was built. Sam Balaco, and later his son Lotteo, owned Bon-Air for 50 yrs. 1981, in a move that changed history forever, Eddie Sholar (aka Fast Eddie) purchased Bon-Air. Things began to change – FAST! In the more than 20 yrs that Fast Eddie has owned Bon-Air, it has quadrupled in size. Seats 300, standing room for 300 more. fasteddiesbonair.com

Great Food, best price! Historic restaurant everyone must be 21+ to enter no children unfortunately. A lot of food for cheap prices with good beer selection. A lot of history in this place and the main tourism driver for Alton Illinois you’ll be pulling up in less than a 20 minute drive.
