Scootours provides visitors the opportunity to ride through the inidgenous forests close to Knysna on a mountain scooter-bike. This is a quick and easy way to experience the magic of the million year old forests if a hike on foot is not for you! Each scooter permits one adult and one child to make this fun activity for the whole family.
Scootours are non-motorised scooters for adults, and have almost no effect on their surrounds, making them particularly friendly to the environment as they emit no harmful gases and are not noisy. Children between three and nine years of age need to go as passengers on the Scootours of their parents or guardians, while everyone that is 10 years and older can take their own. Safety equipment, such as a helmet, is provided for each person.
