Vegan grocery shop - I'm not a vegan or vegetarian but the Unicorn has the best organic fruit and veg + fantastic baked goods and sourdough bread!

Award-winning cooperative that has grown from a vegan health-food shop to a mini-supermarket stocking excellent range of organic vegetables and fruit, much of it grown on land close to Manchester than they are buying by reinvesting their profits. Now stocks tinned & bagged produce, bakery & deli and alcohol.

Unicorn is the best organic food shop in the North of England, owned by the people who work there as a workers' co-operative. Fresh, seasonal organic fruit and vegetables at prices that are often cheaper than non-organic supermarkets.
