The Old Inn in Widecombe-in-the-moor has always done us proud when we take our guests on a day trip to Dartmoor. Widecombe is a lovely little village and the Old Inn does great food and is dog friendly.

A very, very good quality restaurant. Book in advance, the slightly-higher-than-usual price is very justifiable.
