Sweeping view of the Orotava Valley. Named after the German naturist Alexander von Humboldt (1769-1859), who was especially taken with the immense depression covered by lush green banana plantations, from the foot of El Teide to as far as the sea, when he visited Tenerife in 1799.
From here you will be able to see spectacular views of the La Orotava Valley, its wide expanses of banana plantations, and Puerto de la Cruz, La Orotava, and Los Realejos. You can also take a look at the volcanoes of El Fraile and Las Arenas, and, of course, the majestic Teide on top. It is located in an infrastructure with bar-restaurant, exhibition hall and souvenir shop if you want to take a souvenir from the Island.
