A lovely, level walk between Friars Cliff and Highcliffe via the Castle.
Walk along Avon beach until you arrive in Paradise ⛱️ If you love Tree lined beaches this is for you. Visit Highcliffecastle then you can walk down through the trees to reach this beach . Stunning .
Beach below Steamer Point is very pleasant with a good cafe open all day and in to the evening in the summer. Our favourite beach spot all year round. Small car park so get there early. Decent drive through the forest via Emery Down and the A35, missing congestion on the A31 dual carriageway (Bournemouth Rd). Distance: 21 mile, around 35 - 40 minutes away.
This is a lovely walk up from the beach and into a nature reserve. It has a lovely small little visitor centre for children to look at information on the local area, a little play trail in the wooded area, views across the sea and will bring you to Highcliffe Castle where you can enjoy visiting the castle, gardens and food in their cafe.
