The Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens are a short walk across the campus of Acadia University. You can enjoy the formal gardens within the gated confines or head out the gate up the hill into a wooded trail through ravines and over brooks. Stay to the right and the trail wends back to the formal gardens. Good signage; hard to get lost.
If you go to Wolfville, this is a wonderful garden to walk around. Part natural, part formal gardens. Free and a must visit.
