This National Trust beach is beautiful anytime of year. Access to the beach is by a sloping path or steps. Carpets of bluebells and primroses can be seen in May and cows grazing on the beach through the summer. Not suitable for swimming because of undertow.
If you just want to walk at a beach the views at Whitepark Bay beach are breathtaking. This beach has sandy and pebbly areas and even the odd cow! Due to strong water currents, this beach is not suitable for swimming but fine for a paddle in the shallows. If you go when the tide is further out, make your way towards Ballintoy Harbour for great photos of unusual rock formations including Elephant Rock.
