Tips from locals
Established in 1995, this is our original local brewery in the Chequamegon Bay area. Located in Washburn, they offer flagship and seasonal brews that cover a wide range of tastes. My favorite is the Nut Brown Ale. How can you not like a place that urges "Avoid Bummer Beers"?
Beer, kombucha, and sometimes cider or other specialty brews made right here in the brewery and served on tap. They encourage you to bring in your own food, so I recommend ordering a to-go pizza from DaLou’s and enjoy it here with a pint. Shuffleboard, ping-pong, outdoor area when the weather is nice, dog-friendly, live music, Solstice parties, food trucks, and you’ll probably be served by one of the Brewers or the owner, Bo. Bo is full of awesome beer knowledge, he’s super friendly and always ready to chat with customers. Take out beer or kombucha in 16oz cans and 64oz growlers. Bring in your own clean growler to have it filled. Check their Facebook page for current events. @washburntaphouse
