Why locals recommend it

The stairs behind this medieval church in the Latin Quarter are where Owen Wilson’s character sits before traveling back to the ’20s in Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. It’s a magical scene in a great film, which pays tribute to Paris and its artists. While you’re here, step inside the church to see the magnificent jubé, an ornate partition that priests stand on. They are common in medieval churches, but this is the last one in Paris. The stained-glass windows in the cloister are also remarkable.
