Brief History: This preserve was once an old farmhouse built in the late 1800's and suffered a fire in the 1960s and all that remains are the main walls and fireplace. It has a year round spring that waterfalls into a wild trout stream known as Tank Creek. It is located on 52 acres of land and is associated with Pocono Heritage Land and Trust. Tips: Not stroller friendly, inclined hill, and rough terrain. This is not a "touristy" kind of upkept place. The terrain is rocky, Earth has taken itself back, and there are lots of overgrowth in areas. Not recommended for pets or small children.
