If you're on campus anyway and need some peace, quiet, and a chance to reflect, then visit this secluded Japanese garden. The Asian Library just outside it is a great place to read or study if you're in the mood.

Beautiful and very well maintained traditional Japanese style garden. If you time it, you can even witness a traditional tea ceremony. Located at the far end of Vancouver West Side, its a good 30 minute drive, but well worth the trip if you are an aspiring greenthumb.
